Model United Nations

St. Mac Dara’s Community College are delighted to announce that this year, we are sending four students to act as delegates for the Kingdom of Morocco at the St. Andrew’s International Model United Nations conference, running from Monday April 15th to Thursday April 18th 2019, at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire. Our student delegates will represent Morocco on committees such as The Economic and Finance Committee (ECOFIN), The Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM), The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) and Economic and Social Council ( ECOSOC). Over the course of the conference, our delegates will work among 700 students representing 45 schools from 20 different countries from around the world. Our delegates are currently hard at work to put together their resolutions for lobbying and debate at the conference. We wish them all the best!
