Summer Exams
Summer Exams for 2nd and 5th years ended yesterday. We would like to acknowledge the impecable behaviour of all our students throughout this process. Exams are currently being corrected and will be returned to students over the coming weeks. Reports will be issued at the end of the school year.
Darkness into Light
TY students completed the Darkness into Light walk for Pieta House with Ms Clune in the early hours of Saturday 12th May. Well done to all for supporting such an important cause.
1st Year Tour
The 1st year end of year trip will take place in Lilliput Adventure Centre on Thursday the 31st of May. Details are available from 1st year Class Tutors.
Rebecca Byrne
Congratulations to Rebecca Byrne who recently visited the Spanish Embassy to recieve her award for getting the best result in Spanish in the Junior Cert in 2016. This is a remarkable achievement and we are all very proud of her.
GAA News
The 1st Year girls blitz is taking place in St Mac Dara’s today (16th of May). Six school teams are taking part with the first games throwing in at 10:30. The School Pitch and the Astro are both being used to play matches. Best of luck to our first year panel of 28 students. They have shown huge commitment to training and matches throughout the year and we hope they enjoy their last outing of the season.
The Boys U16 Leinster Football Final V Kilbeggan will take place on Monday the 21st of May at 12:30. Venue TBA.
The U14 Hurlers have qualified for the Dublin Shield Final. The game is due to take place this Friday with time and venue to be confirmed.
The 1st Year Boys Gaelic Football team play their championship semi final away to Oatlands on Thursday the 17th of May. All support is welcome.
