For the first time St Mac Dara’s Community College has opened as a centre for the  DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) examination in conjunction with the Alliance Française.  The DELF Scolaire is designed specifically for teenagers learning French in public and private schools.  Candidates who successfully complete the exam will receive a DELF diploma which is issued by the French Ministry for Education.  The results of these exams are valid indefinitely and the diploma is a diploma for life.

The DELF examination is recognized around the world.  It is a valuable addition to a curriculum vitae and is recognition of a student’s study in French since First Year.   The  DELF Scolaire examinations will be held on Tuesday 25th April 2017 at St Mac Dara’s CC.
