The Green Schools Committee has worked exceptionally hard for the last 18 months and their hard work has paid off, as the school has been awarded its very first Green Flag.
The entire school has been involved and we would like to thank everyone for their participation, particularly the caretaking staff, the teaching staff, the entire student body, and the 2 coordinators of the green school initiative Mr.O’Brien and Ms.Clune.
A number of staff and students attended the awards ceremony on the 25th of May 2013 in An Taisce head office, where the Green Flag was presented to the school.
