St. MacDaras Community College, particularly through its Transition Year program, has been associated with Cheeverstown House for over 20 years.
The students participate in the Fast Friends program at Cheeverstown House, and every Christmas help raise valuable funds for Cheeverstown by carol singing in local shopping centres such as the Ashleaf and the Square shopping centres.
The students of St. MacDaras have always enthusiastically embraced and shared the commitment of Cheeverstown House to a future which respects the contribution and inclusion of people with an intellectual disability within the community.
